What does the Superior Ocean View Suite at Cozumel Palace look out on?
This suite faces the Caribbean Sea. Cozumel Palace sits directly on the water along the island's west coast, and the suite offers sweeping ocean views. The resort has direct reef access, so the water in front of you is the same water used for snorkeling and diving.
How are the beds arranged and how many people can the suite sleep?
You can choose 1 king bed or 2 double beds, both on pillowtop mattresses with premium bedding. The 581 sq. ft. one-bedroom suite sleeps up to 5 guests. A complimentary rollaway/extra bed is available when needed, and a free crib can be provided for little ones.
What is the bathroom like?
The bathroom is a highlight. It has a jetted double whirlpool tub as well as a separate bathtub and shower. You'll also find bathrobes, slippers, a hair dryer, designer toiletries, soap and towels. Toothbrush and toothpaste are available on request.
Is this suite a good choice for families with kids and teens?
Yes. The category is sold as Kids & Teens Stay Free, and Cozumel Palace markets itself as a family all-inclusive. The suite adds a free crib and a free rollaway bed, and the Kids' Club welcomes ages 4–12 (10:00 AM–4:30 PM and 7:30 PM–9:00 PM daily). Have proof of each child's age ready at check-in, because the hotel may charge a rate difference if an age differs from the booking.
What is included in the room and with the all-inclusive stay?
In the suite you get a free stocked minibar, a mini-fridge, an espresso maker, complimentary bottled water, 24-hour room service and free Wi-Fi. There is also a 40-inch LED TV with premium channels and an iPod dock. The resort has four restaurants serving Italian, Pan-Asian and Mexican cuisine. Spa treatments and some activities, such as a pool diving lesson, cost extra.
Are there any dress codes or dining details I should know about?
Dinner at Turquesa, the Italian restaurant, requires long pants, a collared shirt and shoes. Bugambilias (Mexican) and Momo (Pan-Asian, with teppanyaki tables and a sushi bar) serve à la carte dinner from 5:30 PM to 11:00 PM. Reservations are recommended in the busy season.
How close is the suite to the beach, the town and the best swimming?
The resort is oceanfront with direct access to the Caribbean, and San Miguel's ferry port, shops, bars and restaurants are within walking distance. Benito Juarez Park is about a 5-minute walk away. The resort has an infinity pool, a children's pool and a swim-up bar. Cozumel's best white-sand beaches are on the island's other side, about a 20-minute drive away. Cozumel International Airport is roughly a 10-minute drive.
Is Cozumel Palace a good base for divers and snorkelers?
Yes. The resort has direct reef access and an on-site dive shop with a pier. It arranges guided snorkeling and diving trips from the hotel's dock. Open Water Certification requires a minimum age of 10, adequate swimming skills and good health.
What else should I know before booking this suite?
Check-in begins at 3:00 PM and check-out is at noon. The cardholder must present the booking card and matching photo ID at check-in. There is no on-site parking, and pets are not allowed. Cozumel charges an Environmental Sanitation Tax of roughly $30 MXN per room per night, paid at the hotel. The property was remodeled in 2025.
